JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you passionate about football and want to help shape and develop young talents both on and off the pitch? We are looking for an engaged and competent teacher in special sports (football) for our NIU program at Alléskolan. With us, you will have a stimulating work environment where you can combine your interest in football with pedagogical work. You will be part of a team of teachers/coaches in our RIG/NIU programs (orienteering, archery, and football) who work together to provide our students with the best conditions to develop as athletes and individuals. You will, together with other coaches, be responsible for leading and developing our operations within NIU - Football.
On the school grounds, we have access to an artificial turf pitch, sports hall, gym, and swimming pool, providing students with good opportunities for various forms of training.

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate football-specific theoretical and practical teaching/training for students in NIU football in the subjects of special sports and competition - and training science.
- Individual coaching and development conversations with students focusing on both athletic and personal development.
- Collaboration with local football clubs and other stakeholders in the football industry.
- Together with a coaching colleague, be responsible for planning, coordination, administration, the admission process, and development of the NIU program.
Possible teaching in another subject depending on qualifications and competencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed teacher with qualifications to teach special sports (football), preferably in combination with another subject.
- Documented experience as a football coach and relevant coaching education, preferably UEFA-A and/or UEFA Elite Youth. Coaching experience with youth in elite environments is an advantage.
Meritorious:
- Experience of teaching in NIU or local sports education.
Personal Qualities:
- You can work both independently and collaboratively with others.
- You have good communication and pedagogical skills.
- You plan and organize your work effectively, take initiative, and are responsible.
- You are structured, flexible, and have a positive and professional attitude when meeting other people.
We place great importance on personal suitability and experience in coaching youth in an elite preparatory environment.
OTHER
As a teacher at Alléskolan, you have a seasonal position, which means an average annual working time of 45.5 hours per week, of which 35 hours are workplace-based time and 10.5 hours are trust time. The working period is from mid-August to mid-June, and as a teacher, you are free during Christmas, sports, Easter, and summer holidays.
